Devoted to helping patients get a better night's sleep.
According to recent studies, almost 70 million Americans don’t get enough sleep. Although everyone misses some sleep occasionally, missing sleep on a regular basis can have profound effects on concentration, mood, and general heath. Dr Zolty has a special interest in sleep medicine, and is devoted to solving the sleep problems plaguing many of his patients. He is board certified in Sleep medicine, both by the American Association of Sleep Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine. When treating patients for sleep disorders, Dr. Zolty takes the time to educate patients and works to guide them through the stages of diagnosis and treatment.
Well-known for his compassionate approach, Dr. Zolty is sensitive to the multitude of facets that may impact a person’s health and well-being. He uses in-depth health histories, physicals, and often sleep diaries and studies to get to the root of his patients’ sleep problems.
The same quality treatment is extended to patients that are recommended for sleep studies. Georgia Lung Associates has a twelve bed premium accredited sleep lab located at the Austell location.
He is particularly interested in diagnosing and treating persistent coughs, particularly coughs that are not solved by initial evaluations and treatment by a patient’s primary care physician. He maintains close contact with referring doctors and regularly follows up with them, giving them updates. He will see patients the same day if needed. He is adept at procedures such as bronchoscopy and the interpretation of pulmonary function tests.
Dr Zolty is a partner in a group of outstanding physicians. The physicians at Georgia Lung Associates have realized that as their group grows, one of their most important assets is the quality of their staff. They are uncompromising in their search for talent, and have grown with this principle in mind. Georgia Lung physicians are enthusiastic and bright. The directors at Georgia Lung Associates have literally managed to recruit the “cream of the crop” and continue to look for compassionate, kind, and dedicated personnel.
Many of the group’s physicians were selected as chief residents in their training years, and the group as a whole has a focus on evidenced-based medicine and continuing medical improvement.
Georgia Lung regularly hosts nationally recognized speakers at their facility and weekly educational sessions. The practice has state-of-the-art facilities and is supported by their local health system. They have three convenient locations and full time coverage and availability.
