Benefit Ride for the Veterans Wall of Honor
August 30, registration begins at 9 a.m.
Heritage Park, McDonough
Rolling Thunder and ABATE will lead a Benefit Ride for The Veterans Wall of
Honor. The ride will begin and end at Heritage Park in McDonough. The cost is
$20 per motorcycle. Following the ride, there will be live entertainment,
military equipment on display, military bands and officials, ROTC performances,
food and soft drinks plus inflatables for the children to enjoy! All are
welcome to attend the event. A silent auction and raffle will also be held at
the event. Donations for the raffle and silent auction will be greatly
appreciated. All funds raised by Rolling Thunder and ABATE during the event
will go to support the Veterans Wall of Honor project now under construction at
Heritage Park in McDonough. The funds will be used to complete the POW-MIA
section of the Wall as well as the Plaza. All donations are tax deductible.
