Creativity Workshops for "Non-Creative" Adults
Tuesdays, August 12, 19, 26, September 5, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Arts Clayton Gallery, 136 South Main Street, Jonesboro, 770.473.5457, artsclayton.org
The premise of the workshops is "everyone is creative - you just don't know it yet!” In each workshop, you will create a main project - painting, making a mask, crafting a piece of sculpture, molding clay or some other personalized “work of art.” The medium and the finished project are not important; engaging in a creative process is. You may find a medium that resonates deep within you or find yourself wanting to explore a particular activity further after the workshop. Creativity Workshops are for those intrepid individuals who wish to explore and connect with their creative side (and you do have one!). No known skill or talent is required in order to participate in the Creativity Workshops... just your curiosity, a willingness to explore, a sense of humor, and perhaps an under-utilized and un-tapped Right Brain! Instructor: Marti Hand. Cost: $200 for Arts Clayton Members, $225 for non-members (includes all supplies).
